No … I didnt fall off the face of the earth :)

I’ve just been working my hiney off. I havent had much time for working out so nothing to post in that area lately. Between working and three kids time is not something I have much of lately. In fact until this week I havent really been online much at all. I took a mini - away from the web vacation you could say. But … Im back! Well part-time anyways.

I am still working full time outside of my house until I get my lay off from work. So until then I am going to work on some “work at home” stuff part time until then. I have some idea’s brewing for my online business success and will be working on them little by little each evening and weekend to get some things going. I mainly wanted to stop in and let you all know I’m still kickin and I truly havent fell off the face of the earth. Just fell off the net for a few weeks :)

Looking forward to sharing all of my new ventures with all of you as I get them going.

Until next time,

Rhonda :)

Only a week and half left …

I have officially sold a few of my site’s this week. Im in the process of making some changes so that I can make the transition from working from the home to going back to work to my job outside of the home.

I can hardly believe I have just a little over a week left and I will be returning to work. I am having mixed feelings about it but overall am happy to have been called back. I just need to do some managing of my time and getting things organized so that I do not have a lot of things sitting that I wont have the time to deal with or run while working. So lots to do in this week and half.

I also really need to figure out a good workout schedule that would fit into my work schedule. Getting up at 4:30am probably wont allow me a lot of time to get much of a workout in but … Im gonna sure try.

Just wanted to stop by and give an update on my preparation from going from soley a work at home mom to working outside of the home and doing some work at home as well. I will continue doing some things from home aside from working outside of the home.

Well …. house cleaning awaits …

I got my letter

As some of you may or may not know I have been laid-off from my job. I actually work from home for several years but in September of last year I took a government job so I could provide insurance for my family. We had no health insurance for the past few years. I worked about eight weeks and was laid-off. Well …. I just got my letter to return to work! I will be going back to work on March 15th!

How will that affect the things that I am doing from home? I am going to continue working from home on the side and creating new things for my work at home business as I would if I where home full time. So still watch for new things that I will soon have to offer. I am actually taking a course that I am pretty excited about and plan on putting some things together really soon!

Just thought I would share my news today about getting my call back letter!

Thanks for listening =)

Mondays Workout

Good Morning!

Just stopping by to share a little about my workout yesterday. My sister and I got our kids off to school yesterday morning, ran some errands and then off to the gym! We walked about a mile, then my little guy decided he didnt want to hang out in the play area anymore so …. we took him swimming.

Today I am not sure I will make it to the gym because I have a ton of laundry to catch up on (darn housewife duties) and then my oldest son is being seen by an allergist later today.

Actually the working out is making my body feel a bit more relaxed and rested. As if the working out is making me able to rest more once I am actually able to sit down for the day. Its helped me rest more at night and made me feel a lot better all around!

I worked out on the stair stepper a little bit (not much because it kills me lol). I do plan on working myself up to using that again along with some other things. I wouldnt mind swimming laps some too. The track we walk is 18 laps for one mile. Ive been doing between 20-25 laps and could do more if my youngest son was cooperating better. Its just going to take some time to get him used to me being away from him for a few while I workout.

So how are you doing on your workout?

Ps … if I dont get to the gym I will probably do some step aerobics on the Wii Fit :)

Workout Pants …

Yeah … you heard me right! I’ve broke down and bought me some workout pants! Not only am I going to workout with my Wii Fit but … I believe we are doing to start working out at the YMCA a few times a week too!

We’ve been taking the kids to the Y and they are now on a Workout program. Then we let them swim for a bit as well. Of course our smallest son is only three so he is a bit young for the Workout program. So … we let him get some time to workout in the pool swimming around :)

That doesnt mean that I wont be working out with my Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus too! Because I am going to do that on the days that we cant make it to the gym! Not only to lose a couple of pounds, but also to help me feel better physically, mentally and to live a better lifestyle. Not only will it help us as we are getting older but it will teach our kids to live a better lifestyle as they get older and to me thats worth it!

BTW … We went to wholefoods yesterday and picked up some Clementines, raisins and some other goodies — love that store! My new alternative snack is clementines and raisins mixed together because its yummy! Ive also started having Raisin bran alot of breakfast!

Have you ever tried Almond milk? If not …. try it. It’s something that my husband wanted to pick up so we did and it is yummy! Which is great because its a milk alternative type thing and seeing that I do not like milk at all this will be a great thing for me to get my calcium!

Please keep me in your thoughts today around uhhh lunch time. My husband is attempting to make Tofu. I am trying to decide if at this point I should run away or suck it up and try it! If you have tried Tofu let me know what you think of it!

Well …. thanks for listening :)

Wii Fit Plus

It’s been a few days since I last posted. We have been really busy the past few days with my husbands grandma being in the hospital, we’ve been trying to visit her and stuff. But I wanted to take a few minutes to post on here to let you all know I did get the Wii Fit Plus this past weekend. We also picked up some weights we can strap onto our arms or legs while we so some working out :)

I havent yet dug into the Wii Fit Plus to create my workout routine yet. Simply because my kids have pretty much been taking it over since we got it. The newness doesnt seem to be wearing off of it for them yet (they must really like it)! Which is good because its good for them too!

My plan is to create me a reasonable workout routine on the Wii Fit Plus that I can have enough time to stick to on a daily basis. This way I can get my body use to doing these certain things each day. I will let you know as soon as I get my routine worked out. Ill be sure to post it here!

Ive been doing alot better on my eating. When I want a snack I have been having some type of fruit. Ive been favoring oranges and raisins. We’ve picked up some bottled water so we will can grab a water while we are working out or just to have a water throughout the day.

Although … this past weekend we didnt do so good on the healthy eating. We went to one of my favorite resturaunts! TGI Fridays and of course they where running a special where you could get one appetizer, one entree and one dessert for $12.99 so …. who could pass that up right?  To make a long story short we had some fried greenbeans for appetizer, cheesy chicken meal and then cheesecake for dessert. I know …. not on the healthy food menu but …. I said I was doing better not perfect :)

I did however buy some Raisin Bran cereal and Special K cereal. I had some raisin bran cereal for the first time yesterday. It tasted a bit like cardboard shavings and raisins lol. But this morning when I ate it, it was better. So I think I can deal with it!

I will close for now … but as soon as I get my workout routine in place I will be sure to share it!

Thanks for listening :)

Getting Fit - With my Wii Fit!

Yep you heard me right … Im going to work on getting fit with my Wii Fit! I made the decision that I would like to feel better, tone up and lose a few pounds. So I am going to get myself on a routine of working out and eating better. As well as teaching my kids better eating habits and exercise too. This way its not so tough for them to “start doing”, when they get older because they will already have it in their lifestyle!

I have decided that I am going to Blog about my progress and what I do each day to hold myself accountable. I may not blog everyday, then again I may. But if I dont then I will blog often about it. This will help me stay focused and accountable to reach my goals!

So let me start with what I done yesterday for my workout and eating healthier :)

My Menu: I started my day with a fruit/grain cereal bar, bananna and a diet coke (I know not the best choice of drink but Im working on it). Then for lunch I had an apple and a few pretzels with a bottle of water. I then had another bottle of water in the late afternoon. I then went to KFC and had dinner with the family - yikes I know. I said I was going to start eating healthier … doesnt mean Im not gonna eat sometimes ;)

I also began my workout yesterday. I am using the regular Wii Fit right now but heading out today after my litle girls cheer competition and may pick up Wii Fit Plus. I am going to take a look at it anyways. I also may pick up some small weights that I can hold while working out some of the time to help workout my arms as well.

My Workout: Lets see…. I went ahead and started from top to bottom on the Wii Fit doing a little in each section. So I started out by doing two yoga exercises (boy could I feel that in my sides). Next I moved onto strength exercises, done some lunches and I can totally feel that in my legs today! Yay me!

Next I moved onto the other areas of the Wii Game and done some Areobic Step, Jogging, Free Step for 1005 steps (for 10 min), I done some hula hoop too. Then I moved on to play some balance games with my little boy. So we both enjoyed our Wii time!

In fact I may call my Blog Posts to keep me accountable “My Wii Time” - great idea!

This is definately a start! Oh yeah … when I weighed in, I weighed in at 131 lbs. I am telling you this so we can watch my progress along the way. I do plan on working out everyday on the Wii Fit! So I will update my blog as often as I can with my progress!

Well its time for me to fix something healthy for breakfast so my daughter can totally ROCK at todays cheer competition!!

Until next time,  Rhonda :)

btw … you are welcome to post comments & questions if you like :)

What is your theme 2010?

It’s a new year and you’ve got your goals all planned out for 2010.  Have you considered creating a theme that will remind you of your goals?

Designing your ultimate theme is a personal slogan or tagline that will be a reminder of where you are right now and where you want to be by the end of 2010.

What is your personal theme for 2010?  What personal statement can you make that will sum up your goals? What personal tagline can you create that will “ignite” you to bring your goals to reality?

Perhaps you want to spend more time with your family. You want to go to the movies more with your kids or spouse. You want to learn to play the guitar with your son or take your daughter to ballet more often. You want to take several mini family vacations or weekend trips. You want to spend less time working and more time enjoying your family. So, your theme could be The Year of Family!

You see, when you have a personal theme, you’re setting yourself up for success.  Your theme is designed to keep you focused and on track to achieving your goals. Regardless if your theme is for your personal or business goals, it’s time for you to create the life you want right now!

I personally invite you to join me in the Designing Your Ultimate Theme Year webinar.  This fully interactive hour will get you thinking, planning, and designing your year for optimal success. Whether for personal or for business, you don’t want to miss this event.

During the webinar we will discuss:

1.  How to choose your own theme.

2.  How to implement goals into your theme.

3.  How to create your ultimate year of success.

This is guaranteed to be a fun and informative webinar that you will put into action during the call. You don’t want to miss this.  If you are serious about making 2010 your best year ever, you need to attend this event.

Let’s have a little fun, shall we?

Since this webinar will be such a fun event, wouldn’t it be great to share it with your spouse, or business partner, or assistant, or team member?  I thought so!

The cost of this webinar is $10.00, which is super inexpensive and only set up to cover my overhead costs, but because I want you to fully put your Theme Year exercise into practice, it’s best to have an accountability partner. So, for the next 20 people that sign up, they will be able to bring “a friend” for just $5.00 more. (I like to call this my “Friend Add-On” option).

Yes, both of you will be able to attend the Design Your Ultimate Theme Year for only $15.00. Once the “Friend Add-On” option is taken down below, it will no longer be available.

Here’s what to do now…

1. Mark your calendar for Thursday, January 14, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. EST.  If for any reason you cannot make the LIVE webinar, you will receive a replay of the event along with the worksheet.

2. Find an accountability partner to join you.  But hurry because the “Friend Add-on” option will not be available for long. Once 20 people sign up, the option will be removed.

3. Pick which option you want and sign up.  It’s just that easy!

If you are ready to create your theme go to:
