So you need an audio transcribed but aren’t sure how much it’s going to cost you? Below is a breakdown of our rates. This will help you see exactly how much it will cost you to have a Professional Transcript created for your audio. Audio Hour Rate

Billing is based on a per project basis at the following rate chart:

  • One Speaker = $50/per audio hour (or $.83/audio minute)
  • Two Speakers = $55/per audio hour (or $.92/audio minute)
  • Three + Speakers = $60/per audio hour (or $1.00/audio minute)

As you can see we have also listed Audio Minute beside of the Audio Hour rate. If perhaps your audio is shorter or longer than an Audio Hour then it would be figured on billable minutes. If you have questions about this don’t hesitate to ask.

 

Turn Around Time 

The TAT (turn around time) is based on Business Days. Our business days are Monday - Friday (excluding all major holidays). If you need work done on a weekend please let us know ahead of time so that can be worked out ahead of time. 

  • Standard TAT = 5 business days (no additional charge)
  • Fast TAT = 4 business days (add $10.00)
  • Priority TAT =  2 to 3 business days (add $20.00)
  • Rush TAT = 24 hours and/or weekend (add $25.00)

 

Additional Fees 

(Based on per project basis)

  • Special Formatting = add $5.00 (smaller fonts, double space, ect.)
  • Poor Quality Audio = add $25.00
  • Extremely Poor Quality Audio = add $100
  • Custom Template Creation = add $50.00 (incl 2 pgs, add $10.00 per additional page)
  • Include Custom Template = add $5.00
  • Hard Copy Final Document = add $15.00 (document copied to CD/DVD, and send U.S.P.S. Priority Mail, add $20.00 for overnight delivery)
  • PDF Conversion = add $5.00

 

Payment Terms

Our payment method accepted is Pay Pal. You do not need a Pay Pal account in order to make your payment. Upon completion of your project you will simply be sent a Pay Pal invoice directly to your email account and you can click the Buy Now button and then follow the instructions to simply pay with your credit card. This process is very simple and safe. We bill per audio hour, if there are additional fee’s to be added they will be added before the invoice is sent out to you. There will be a $30.00 charge for all returned checks. If your invoice goes unpaid for72 hours of being sent to you for payment then it is then subject to a late fee.

Your completed document will be spell-checked, proofread (grammar and punctuation), and sent to you via email.
