Last Tuesday my 30 year old cousin (whom is a teacher) was hit by a drunk driver. The driver was under the influence of drugs and alcohol. My cousin was walking home from the school were she works when she was hit from behind. She was STAT flight to the University hospital where she remains still. She suffered from brain, head and neck injuries. She had to have a peice of her skull removed due to brain swelling and she had bleeding in her brain. She was put into a medically induced coma because of the bleeding in her brain. She is now starting to wake up and slowly making progress but is unaware of what happened to her.

The kids at the school she teaches at has started making Locks of Love with messages and prayers that they write on the paper chain. They are going to see how big they can get the chain and hang it up for display at the school. They have had people from different states wanting to send peices of chains to add to the locks of love. My kids and I are starting our own section to take to the school and would love it if anyone else would like to participate and mail us the chains we will put it together. If you would like to participate simply cut peices of paper like you are making a paper chain and write a message, thought or prayer on one side and the state you are from on the other side. We will add them to the chain and take them to the school to be put onto display.

I have just launched my new website for my Child Care Business. This website will allow me to do some online marketing, as well as pick up new families online from my area!

I am sharing my rates, hours, openings and much more on my website! I also put an area where my Parents Handbook, Enrollment Forms, Medical Authorization Form and things like that can be printed out! This will make my business much more organized!

I wanted to stop by and share just how much I am loving my new job!  I have been providing Child Care in my home over the past year but, hadnt really taken on many kids or treated it like a business. After our move to our new house I chose to treat it more like a business & to fill more of my Child Care spots.

I am really loving it! I wasnt sure how much I would enjoy the daily chaos of watching a bunch of kids everyday but the truth is … I love it! We have so much fun! It gives me the opportunity to spend more time with my own children while spending time taking care of the children I provide care for and making money all at the same time!

This doesnt mean I have stopped working online because I do still own several website as well. I am in the process of making some changes to my business online though. I am in the process of selling off some of my sites that I no longer have that time to run. This will give me the opportunity to work on the site I want to get going for Work At Home Moms which is WAHMS.com. This site will be for women and moms to connect that truly earn an income from home!

I am overall enjoying my entire business … My online and offline business! It’s all definately keeping me on my toes and keeping me super busy but I am loving every single minute of it!

Two weeks from today we will get the keys to our new home and be able to begin moving in!  I have been busy decluttering and packing! Boy o boy … you really dont realize how much stuff you have until you start packing!

I thought I would stop by and talk to you a little about decluttering! I decided as I was packing things that instead of packing EVERYTHING up I would go ahead and declutter a bit so that I am not wasting time packing things to the new house that we don’t even want or use!

When is the last time you decluttered your home? For me … I do it often simply because I cannot stand clutter. But even for someone that does it often, I still have ALOT of stuff. That could be because we have three kids that like to hold onto pretty much everything. The truth is … It is simply overwhelming to have an unorganized and cluttered home! In smost cases people do not even really realize that the clutter is causing them to feel overwhelmed but as you begin to declutter your home you then feel a sense of relief or weight lifted from your shoulders.

If you look around your house and wonder why you are holding onto some of the things that you have then maybe you should consider doing a little “spring cleaning”. This will make you feel so much better, I promise!

Decluttering your home for some may seem like an overwhelming task. But the best thing to do is to take on one small project at a time and move on throughout your home as you complete one area. For example you may start with a closet or even your home office. Then as you declutter those area’s you can move onto bigger areas!

So that is what I will be working on over the next couple of weeks as we pack to move to the new house.  

Okay …. I promised you that I would share some news that I am super excited about so here it goes!

I didnt want to spill the beans on my last post because we hadn’t officially closed, so I didnt want to jenks it by getting excited to fast! But … on Saturday we officially closed on our new home! I am super excited about this because the home is so beautiful!  I cant wait to get moved in to take some pictures and I will be sure to share as soon as I can! This new home will give us more room so both Matt and I will have room for an office, a man cave , a nice yard for the kids to play in, a garage and so much more!

So as you can see … I am pretty excited about our new home! The next couple of weeks are going to be super busy for me because I am going to be going through all of our stuff, getting things packed up and ready to move!!
