Two weeks from today we will get the keys to our new home and be able to begin moving in!  I have been busy decluttering and packing! Boy o boy … you really dont realize how much stuff you have until you start packing!

I thought I would stop by and talk to you a little about decluttering! I decided as I was packing things that instead of packing EVERYTHING up I would go ahead and declutter a bit so that I am not wasting time packing things to the new house that we don’t even want or use!

When is the last time you decluttered your home? For me … I do it often simply because I cannot stand clutter. But even for someone that does it often, I still have ALOT of stuff. That could be because we have three kids that like to hold onto pretty much everything. The truth is … It is simply overwhelming to have an unorganized and cluttered home! In smost cases people do not even really realize that the clutter is causing them to feel overwhelmed but as you begin to declutter your home you then feel a sense of relief or weight lifted from your shoulders.

If you look around your house and wonder why you are holding onto some of the things that you have then maybe you should consider doing a little “spring cleaning”. This will make you feel so much better, I promise!

Decluttering your home for some may seem like an overwhelming task. But the best thing to do is to take on one small project at a time and move on throughout your home as you complete one area. For example you may start with a closet or even your home office. Then as you declutter those area’s you can move onto bigger areas!

So that is what I will be working on over the next couple of weeks as we pack to move to the new house.  

Okay …. I promised you that I would share some news that I am super excited about so here it goes!

I didnt want to spill the beans on my last post because we hadn’t officially closed, so I didnt want to jenks it by getting excited to fast! But … on Saturday we officially closed on our new home! I am super excited about this because the home is so beautiful!  I cant wait to get moved in to take some pictures and I will be sure to share as soon as I can! This new home will give us more room so both Matt and I will have room for an office, a man cave , a nice yard for the kids to play in, a garage and so much more!

So as you can see … I am pretty excited about our new home! The next couple of weeks are going to be super busy for me because I am going to be going through all of our stuff, getting things packed up and ready to move!!

How is your 2012 going? As for me, 2012 is off to a great start!  I have been working on making some Personal & Business changes that needed to be made and so far … this year has been fantastic!

If you know me at all then you know that I spent the past year or two going through some major changes in my life, which was a really tough time in my life. I have done a lot of soul searching and realized that I need to focus on the present and the future instead of the past.  Which … it wasn’t easy for me to actually accept that, in fact it was really hard.  But, after a lot of soul searching I realized I had to.  There really was no other option.

I am now focusing on how I can make my life better with each day I am blessed with. In what way can I improve my life. I have spent some time soul searching, brainstorming and re-focusing, so I am in the process of making those changes. 

Myself … As for myself I am focusing on my Mental & Physical Health. I am working on replacing my regrets and sadness with Grattitude and happiness.  As for my mental health I am working on letting go Not holding onto the painful things in my life and surround myself with the things that I enjoy and make me happy. I am focusing on my future instead of my past and making new lasting memories. As for my Physical Health I am working on eating better, working out more. Not only for my self image but because it simply makes me feel better.

My Business … I am working on my financial makeover, so to speak. I am evaluating everything I do Online for my online business, as well as the things I do offline to earn an income. I am taking everything into consideration and getting rid of the things that cause me work with no pay.  ((Unless of course it something I am just totally passionate about)) Of course … “Working From Home” is only accurate when you are actually earning an income from home. So, a lot of my time “trying” to work from home was spent focusing on things that I know now was getting me no where. So I am doing some re-focusing of my business and getting rid of the “noise” in my business. The flashy things that make me lose focus, the things that really dont bring in an income and focusing my time on the things that do. After all … I need to make the most of what time I do actually have to spend online, working on the things that will actually benefit me financially.

A few of my Business Decisions … I made a few Business Decisions already toward the end of last year and into the beginning of this year. One of them was when I began doing some work as a Service Provider/Freelancer and using Micro-Sites to promote what I had to offer. Well, as I began to earn an income from home $5 here, $5 there … I thought hmmm …  I’m impressed! So I decided to create a Micro-site focused to Women working to earn an income online! Another business decision I had made was to make a larger purchase for a domain name that I just couldn’t pass up!  I actually accidentally bumped into this domain by typing in the wrong address when trying to go to another website, then I saw it was for sale! I thought to myself … there is NO WAY that this domain name is available! So I done some research and guess what … it was! So I made an offer and became the owner early this year! So we are in the process of creating something great there! That is when WAHMS.com was born!

I am in the process of making more business decisions each day … Like going through all of my domain names, creating new opportunities, selling off the one’s I do not have the time for and much more!

I truly hope that you are having an awesome 2012. It’s a great time to reflect on your Financial and Personal Goals! If you have been struggling to make your business work online, truly take some time to brainstorm, to evaluate the things that can actually move your forward and earn you an income and then get rid of the rest! De-Clutter your business!!

I have a confession to make … I am addicted to buying domain names   The truth is, I get all of these great ideas come to mind of things I would like to create and then reality sets in as to the amount of time I actually have to put forth to all of them … so I end up creating a great site or opportunity and no additional time to run it like it needs to be ran.
